The Fourfold Green

The Fourfold Green is more than just a social space; it’s a vibrant place where people can come together for a transformative experience where they can learn and connect with one another. It embraces the concept of social dependency solidified by the Four (4) spheres of sustainability. These state that it should be (1) economical, meaning that it is sustainable and can be produced at a low cost; (2) environmentally viable, meaning that the space offers a cohesive and diverse flora and fauna without invasive factors; (3) social, meaning that it should prioritize the quality of life of the people; and (4) cultural, which means it should promote and respect the cultural identity of the community through educating the people about the history and traditions that make up Pasig City.

With these factors taken into consideration in our concept and design, we are able to produce a small ecosystem within Pasig that brings together the four (4) spheres for meaningful involvement in a once underutilized and forgotten space. This provides a space that can bring together Pasig City and bridge the gap between different cultures and people from different walks of life. Addressing the problem of social isolation in an urban setting by producing a space that promotes social interaction and develops a sense of community is the ultimate goal.

Offering a diverse line-up of features, architectural solutions, programs, and amenities makes this social space truly a one-of-a-kind experience for the community of Pasig City. Fourfold Green ensures a better and more inclusive future for everyone by incorporating sustainability into every facet of the design, making a long-lasting influence on the city’s environment, economic, and social fabric. The park serves as a teaching tool for sustainable practices in addition to being a haven from the city bustle.

Through cooperative community initiatives, it encourages creativity and innovation while giving locals a feeling of pride and belonging. The project is a blueprint for future green areas in Pasig and beyond, demonstrating how well-considered urban planning can transform city life. The aim is to create a culture of cultural appreciation, social justice, and environmental care through this initiative while also leaving a lasting impact on the city’s welfare and development.
