OVERVIEW
Following up on its first successful year, ArchiNEXT 2016 was launched with its theme BIGKIS: Community Enrichment Facility. BIGKIS will embody the 'strong bond' of the community in good and bad times, serving its 2 purposes as an enrichment facility and an evacuation center.
BIGKIS as an enrichment facility must be receptive and proactive to the immediate environment so that it will be able to address the needs of the community and knit the community together toward growth. And, when disasters arise BIGKIS must be easily converted to an evacuation center accommodating people and providing a safe dwelling.
