CONCEPT
Education and Livelihood are to be put together like Form and Function
The design brief calls to address an alternative redefinition on the architectural program of the Malanggam Barrio School for it to meet the approved DepEd Standards for Educational Facilities.
The existing light-gauge shed construction will be upgraded to cater a solution in providing a much more feasible coherent ambience and comfortable scheme for its users. These are the students; the teachers and the general first-to-third degree unit community of the Municipality of Cardona. Design and Sustainability Features will focus on the concept of Permaculture (Permeability in the Culture), the idea simply takes itself from the definition of permeability.
The structure itself will take the challenge of strong natural and man-made calamities. It will not just serve as a facility that will cater the academic growth of our youth, but it will also serve as a regenerating hub for resources.
