CONCEPT

A seed is a sturdy hard shell that protects the life inside of it, and as soon as the shell breaks, a sprout comes out of it, serving as the beginning of a tree—the tree that will bring new hope to society and a brighter future for the next generation. Likha!

The school is designed using a modular type of construction in which it uses the same materials and the same building codes/architectural specifications. This type is much more eco-friendly by generating less waste, creating fewer site disturbances, and allowing tighter construction, all in about half the time of traditional construction.

The Seed School is not just about the seed concept itself but also about the conservation of Filipino culture. The children are the future of this country; thus, from the building itself, it must already show the spirit of nationalism in order to inspire them to build the future of our nation—the Philippines.
