Nature Heals: Relinking Architecture to its Natural Space
Where there is nature, there is healing. Architecture sometimes misses an important part of its design and function - to preserve nature in its spaces. The natural environment creates a major impact on healing which can be beneficial in hospital building. Studies show that exposure to nature can heal, soothe and restore both the mental and the physical well-being of people. Hospitals are spaces that give primary care to people.
These places provide treatment and prevention, however, one common problem in hospital building is its lack of its connection to natural space.
