CONCEPT
The concept of the design was inspired from the word "Tukad", a Bicolano term for "slope" which means to elevate from one place to another. The pandemic won't last but the infectious diseases are here to stay. Lessons from the past pandemics enables the designers to prepare on how do tourism cope/thrive in the midst of a pandemic?
Planning of social spaces and flow of people is redefined. Introduction of Space articulation by strategically creating a slope or depression on areas that will cater a huge volume of tourist in the site, it provides a psychological feeling/effect that when a certain space is elevated it drives people to move and interact without them knowing.
