CONCEPT

The M.A.N.O. Retirement Village main target users are persons from ages 60 and above or elders who wish to retire and mostly prefer to live alone because they somehow feel self pity and thinks they will just become a liability to their family members who were busy with careers or own lives and building a place, where they can enjoy living the rest is a great new beginnings for them. The recreational areas were highlighted especially the event halls to show the importance of gatherings where elders can gather, socialize with fellow elders, eat together with their family members, who wish to visit them anytime. As per seen in site development plan a certain form of “mano”, in the form of man-made pond, was also highlighted to exhibit the inspiration of M.A.N.O Retirement Village.
