Flyover Maneuver

The community’s mobility is the top priority of Flyover Maneuver, the masterpiece of De La Salle College of St. Benilde’s entrant, Alfonso Datuin. Blending architecture in the daily lives of commuters, passersby and residents, it is also designed to create breathable spaces for walking, recreational activities and more.

This entry is one of the few unique approaches when it came down to concepts. Linking areas and creating functional spaces are recognized by the judges as they evaluated the entries.

Each layer of the structure serves with a different purpose. Integrated in the design is the connection of the ferry line to the Philippine National Railway railroad, in which commuters can get a glimpse of the Flyover Maneuver as they pass by.
