OVERVIEW
Inspired by its core theme, Salin-Likha: Creating Legacy for the Future, ArchiNEXT 2025 drew a record-breaking 871 entries from architecture students nationwide. The 11th edition challenged students to address the urgent need for urban green spaces and combat rapid urbanization. By reimagining underutilized city lots, participants designed vibrant, sustainable community hubs for the future.
Salin-Likha, a fusion of “salinlahi” (generations) and “likha” (creation), spurred young architects to design spaces reconnecting communities with nature, leaving enduring legacies for generations. Participants transformed idle areas into vital cultural and social assets, addressing current and future needs while prioritizing sustainability and inclusivity in the urban landscape.
