ArchiNEXT 2023 embarked on a mission to redefine elderly care in the Philippines. The RETAYIR theme challenged future architects to create innovative, inspiring spaces honoring senior citizens. RETAYIR envisioned a world where aging offers growth, connection, and purpose.
The competition sought designs moving beyond traditional facilities, creating vibrant communities where residents engage, connect with their culture, and thrive. The challenge was blending Filipino elements with modern amenities, designing functional spaces that foster well-being.
